Sat 11:50pm Decided that a fire on the ground with friends in the country beats fireworks in the sky. #
Sat 11:55pm Got an entire wedding/honeymoon trip reserved without knowing on exactly which of those days we'll get married. Gotta keep SOME spontaneity! #

Sat 1:16pm looking into airplane schedules/costs for the first time in about 5 years or so. Amazed at how many airlines are still in business. #
Sat 1:53pm ... or we could take a train, but that'd require leaving Cleveland (not Columbus!) at 3 or 4 in the morning. #
Sat 2:41pm has plane reservation. Also has car reservation. No trains. #
Sat 4:12pm staying 5 nights in a yurt in a park near Golden CO; probably 1 night in Boulder before that. Need to decide where to spend the last night. #

Tue 9:53am slightly overwhelmed by my email this morning. Must be time to get off a mailing list. #
Tue 1:12pm finally managed to fix one of the minor problems contributing to my recent flood of email. #
Wed 11:09pm Had an exhausting afternoon/evening. First unexpected (though not entirely surprising) cat trauma, then dad's (expected) birthday dinner. #
Thu 4:03pm helped friends move some furniture four blocks. Hanging out at UA library until it's time to pick up a cat from the vet. #
Thu 5:17pm sitting in library noticing that Ohio citizens are clamoring not to have services cut, while state leg & governor just argue over gambling. #
Thu 7:39pm Failed my "pill a cat" roll. Need to buy the skill with some experience points. #
Fri 8:41am Stepped on a sewing needle on the bedroom floor. It'd been lost in the living room. No wonder we couldn't find it before. #
Fri 2:19pm just noticed that LoudTwitter is down and maybe dead. Possibly good news to people on Facebook seeing my daily updates again every day. #
Fri 5:18pm wrote a Perl script, to run on my own server, to sorta replace LoudTwitter. (I won't try to set up my own replacement service though.) #
Fri 6:52pm After MJ's death, Palin decided she needed to restore the world's level of bizarreness. #
Sat 7:22am Wide awake a bit too early for a Saturday. I blame that bright yellow thing in the east. Making tea for Sydney so she can be wide awake too! #

14:26 Karate Coyote attracting quite a crowd to Comfest's offramp stage. Too bad that stage's sound quality sucks. #
16:13 Can't escape the Comfest smokers. #
18:38 Only managed to catch the last couple songs of Colin Gawel & The Lonely Bones, but they sounded great. Closed with Born To Run. #
22:21 Left Comfest before dark, tired and worn out and sweaty. Saturday is always so packed, but there's good people-watching and good music. #
