All in all, it was fun having my husband with me for the first time at Pennsic.

Middle Eastern dancing:
I still have not seen anything you learned in that class. ;-) However, sometime between now and next Pennsic, I will at some SCA or Pagan event take a Middle Eastern dance class. For costumes, I'm thinking something along these lines:

Bard's Haven:
I only saw one person arrive, avail herself of the mead offered, "grace" us with her songs, and then leave without bothering to listen to anyone else because other audiences awaited her. Most of the people were a bit taken aback by her behavior, and everyone else displayed proper bardic circe etiquette. It's one of my favorite bardic circles.

Packing up:

We're a team; we're supposed to work together. ;-) Although I did feel bad about leaving a day before Faquita, since that meant I couldn't help her in return. But there will be other events.

I am glad you mostly enjoyed your journey to the Middle Ages.

Ewwww. :-)

That reminds me... after the Arabic class I wandered over to catch the end of the middle eastern dance exhibition (which had been distracting me in the last half of the class). One of the performers mentioned that her costume was meticuously period, but her dance wasn't quite so period. This forced her to pull her clothing up against her belly in order for the audience to have any idea what she was doing with her muscles. Good dancing, but the total effect just didn't quite work so well.
