Sat 8:31am From fully-charged to 10% in half an hour. I think my iPod needs a new battery. Somehow. #
Sat 1:12pm wrapping up the iPod to send to Texas for iPodJuice.com to fix it. Hope they can get it back to me before we take off for Colorado! #

Sat 3:54pm allergies started right on time: must be mid-August. I'll come out of AC again in a month. Or maybe I can leave Ohio for a month. #
Sat 4:58pm Impressed that LaCie has a Lightscribe program for Mac & Linux, but not Windows. Amused that the Mac version doesn't work with my CD burner. #

Fri 2:25pm Finally trying El Arapazo. Venezuelan food in the alley! #
Fri 5:55pm wondering where the other light switch is for this office... At certain times of day the lights just flip, and nobody touched our switch. #
Fri 6:46pm Upgrading the work machine RAM from 1GB to 5GB. Now maybe I won't be using almost twice as much swap as real memory. #
Fri 6:48pm solved the light mystery! The photographer who shares our floor also shares a light circuit. He turns on his lights, ours go on too. #

Thu 9:08am vc-resolve-conflicts is great for difficult merge conflicts. I love Emacs. #
Thu 10:54am checked out the chromium-browser daily build on Kubuntu Linux. Really nice, except for the ugly Gtk menus. Now running 4 different browsers. #

Wed 4:10pm found the cause of my iPod crashing when I started music apps: a utility app that was free when installed but now costs money. Removed now. #
Wed 4:23pm always happy when a code edit makes the file both smaller and more readable without losing functionality. Bonus points if it's faster too. #
Wed 9:35pm Just noticed how cheap a terabyte is these days.... Wow, we do live in the future! #
