Mon 9:25pm playing with Google Earth to look at where we were on our trip. Too bad some of the locations don't have any good imagery in there. #
Tue 8:49am Car won't start, I assume because of the wet weather. Argh. #
Tue 9:16am Can't blame this one on the car. Looks like something ate through a couple wires. Rigged up a temporary fix until I can get to a shop. #
Tue 12:32pm just found out that the company health care plan is going to require a $5000 deductible. Can we have the public option now please? #
Tue 5:40pm Car's fixed! Well, until the next time a mouse craves a snack of plastic and copper. Yum! #

Sat 2:43pm Waiting for the flight back east. I'm ready to go home, but Sydney wants to go back (actually farther) into the mountains. #
Sat 2:53pm Shared plane 1 west with a baby and two chihuahuas. On plane 2 sat between two guys 2-3 times my size. Yet optimististic about flights back. #
Sat 3:10pm Our flight to Chicago continues to Iceland. I may have to drag Sydney off the plane.... #
Sat 6:18pm Love being able to check gates from the phone before leaving the plane. Saves disorientation getting off. One more hop to CMH! #
Sat 9:08pm Made it home! And not turning on the computer until tomorrow. #
Sun 2:42pm found packages upon return: "Pro Git" book, my iPod (with new battery, but won't connect to wifi now!), a wedding gift (big clay rabbit). #
Mon 2:48pm wishing my iPod had come back with wifi capability intact. I think they forgot to reconnect the antenna. :-( #
Mon 2:51pm pulling hundreds of pictures from cameras into the computer. About 1GB of jpegs from my camera alone. #

Fri 11:49am fixed that bug last night with help from red wine and regular expressions. Now get to enjoy a relaxing morning before final travel prep. #
Fri 8:00pm My iPod is on its way back! It'll arrive... Monday. Sooner than they implied a couple days ago, not nearly as soon as I'd hoped. Oh well. #

Mon 10:23am Good news: new ceiling tiles cut the A/C noise drastically! Bad news: fire alarm testing today. #
Tue 1:36pm picked up "Ruby Best Practices"; ch. 1 is test-driven development. Ch. 1 of "Perl Best Practices" is on code formatting. Ruby wins again. #
Tue 1:37pm The coverage of TDD in "Ruby Best Practices" is the clearest and most useful I've found so far. #
Tue 1:38pm enjoyed another lunch of dal makhani, fresh air, and sunshine. #
Tue 6:01pm don't think I'm going to get the iPod back before Colorado. :-( #
