I'd say go to Pennsic, but was blown away by the guests at Dragoncon. It's like Marcon on steroids! (Of course, it's all the way in Georgia, and I tend not to travel that far.)

One of the things I like about Marcon is that it's an "everything" con. There are book discussions, t.v. and movie discussions, filk, anime, dressing up and dancing, etc. The one thing I would like to try at Marcon that I haven't yet is gaming. But it would be harder to go to a con that only did one of those things.
