rfunk at 11:54pm on 22/02/2006 under monty pythonSo after watching the first two hours of "Monty Python's Personal Best", each hour of which is dedicated to one of the members, the primary verdict is that Eric Idle is funnier than Graham Chapman. But then, I already knew that.
Other conclusions:
- As Eric Idle ages, he looks more and more like Terry Jones. Jones, however, hasn't changed all that much.
- Michael Palin and John Cleese are looking really old now.
How disturbing is it that, of all the sketches shown tonight, it's the Abuse rant (next door to the Argument clinic) that I have almost entirely memorized?
