Autumn Sunrise

This has been the view out my bedroom windows every morning this week as I've gotten out of bed:

The brilliance only lasts about half an hour or so before the sun gets too high to light up these leaves.

Update: New! Improved! Bigger and better than before!

The picture is kind of creepy. ;-) It looks like a face with two square eyes.

But then, I have a twisted imagination.

OK, I changed the surroundings to white instead of black, so maybe it looks a little less creepy now.

I didn't mean it as an insult. Nothing wrong with creepy, especialy around this time of year.

But yes, the picture now looks more like windows.

I had a similar view, but this morning I looked up and saw bare branches. :(
