Bicycle!

The weather lately has been so beautiful I've been wanting to go out for a bike ride. Only trouble is that my bike was stolen from our garage four years ago, a few months before we moved to Canton. I've been putting off getting a new one because it feels weird to me to spend $300 on a bicycle, so I've been holding out for a used one. (Columbus has a used-bike store, but I'm never down there when it's open.)

But the other night I finally took the first step toward getting a new one, checking out the offerings at two local bike shops. It's amazing how much bicycles have changed since my old ten-speed, which I once thought was too junky for anyone to steal. I had to learn what "700c" wheels are, for one. But I'm hoping to go back and get a hybrid bike soon.

Of course, the nice weather seems to be on its way out tonight....

The weather's been gorgeous where I live in Colorado also. Perfect for bike riding ;-)
