that is why rss is so very lovely. now if I can figure out a good way to cron out the sync'ing of my Safari and Firefox (which can parse RSS) bookmarks, I'll be in heaven.

Yeah, too bad none of the concert venues have ever heard of RSS. Most of them have enough trouble with HTML.

But if I ever do this project, RSS will definitely be there.

perhaps you could build a little site that can then carry such information for other cities.

Yup, that's the plan; I watch two or three cities anyway, since nothing good ever comes to Canton. It'd just be a matter of getting the scraping code for each venue.

I'm even thinking of having it show all the venues within X miles of your zip code. (I have to build something like that for work anyway.)

Of course, nothing is coded yet; it's just an idea at this point.
