Proposition 8 was the one dull cloud on a shining progressive victory. Yes, it sucks hard. But I believe we're moving towards a Loving v. Virginia case, and soon. The transition is going to be a bitch, though.

I hope it's not before the Supreme Court has a more favorable makeup, which could actually take a while. The conservatives there are pretty young.

That should have said a "Loving v. Virginia"-type case, except in terms of a homosexual union instead of an interracial one.
