Yeah, obviously I don't have a "side" in this situation because I know nearly nothing about it. However, most of the things I read made it sound like Russia was bad and Georgia was good. Although, some glazed over the fact that Georgia was kind of making war on its own people first.
I don't really know what is "right". But, perhaps I've been the victim of some of the media bias against Russia. Because everything I read was all about how Russia was reacting way too strongly, and it isn't even their business or something.
Makes me think. I dunno what happened, but I hope the violence ends soon.

It certainly seems like Russia's response is disproportionate. (ack! as I was typing that I heard Bush on the radio saying the same thing!) I guess Russia wants to make sure nothing like this happens again. But yeah the way this started seems to have been forgotten.

I'd thought it was over, but I guess it was just Georgia's hopes for victory that ended. I definitely hope it ends quickly.
