Wow. Sounds like you've got the bends. How you got them without scuba diving.....just *how* hard was that rain?

I have never seen such hard rain come down for such a long time without letting up. For once no one was complaining about Flaming Gryphon being camped on the slope of a hill. The ground became so saturated that the stakes for our baronial pavilion came out and it fell over, fortunately not doing much damage.

We think this was the price for the really nice weather we had for the rest of the week.

Really. Really. Hard.
And really really long.
(I hear the women liked it that way. *rim shot*)

I've heard that what hit us had nothing to do with the previous week's hurricanes, but while it was happening I found that hard to believe. (I missed being able to go online to look at radar and satellite weather maps.)

But anyway, the doctor says her best guess before the blood test is that I got a virus from the mead I drank at Bard's Haven on Thursday night.
