I can't wait until my 36th birthday....

Hmm, we have a lot of this stuff.... I'm actually impressed at how accurate it is, and amused at the 1968 prejudices and assumptions seeping through. Can I have a 250mph air-cushion car for my birthday? No? How about a 4-hour workday?

That was my first thought. Given the limited understanding of how computers would evolve and the limited resources that we'd run into, I'd say this is uncanny.
