I don't know which bothers me more, the fact that the current climate of the country has emboldened people like this investigator or the fact that his misplaced zeal was almost certainly there long before 9/11. People like this are always trying to save us from something, now he's got "National Security" to use as his latest excuse.

A very disturbing trend.

I like the guy's idea of printing out the 4th Ammendment and keeping it with him. Very good idea.

Damn. I don't even know what to say to that. The guy gave me a good idea, though. I'm going to program the Ohio ACLU's number into my phone as well.
