14:35 trying to nail down flaky net connection. Just when I'm about to call for repair it starts working better. #
19:24 called DSL support. Level 1 didn't listen, but level 2 did, and is sending a new modem. Better internets arrive by UPS on Wednesday. #
21:37 regretting the iPod upgrade. Nothing works as well as before. And the App Store isn't worth what I lost. (TV-out currently what I'm missing) #

13:09 reinstalling OSX on the Thinkpad since I broke it with an ill-advised upgrade. #
19:06 still trying to bend OSX to my will. The ACPI driver doesn't want to cooperate. May have to resort to XP for the iPod upgrade later. #
21:32 got OSX 10.5.6 installed by avoiding the custom-install options. Downside is no sound yet. #
22:36 watched BSG with Sydney and three very relaxed cats. One also was interested in the OSX install earlier. #
