Back. and forth.
Yeah,
duriyah and I returned from our (North) Myrtle Beach vacation early this week. (Yes, it was relaxing, thank you, except for the last two hours driving into NMB when the rain was pouring hard and caused two wrecks within two miles, and also when we both simultaneously got stung by a jellyfish.)
And I've been struggling to catch up ever since. For example, I think between work and personal there were nearly 2000 emails waiting for me. I finally finished going through the email today, though there are still some that need action or response.
Then there's my LJ friends page, which isn't quite as scary simply because (unlike the email) there's no number at the bottom of my screen showing how many posts I haven't read. That makes it easier to put off much of the catching up, but I'm sure there are things from the past two weeks I should be reading or replying to.
Meanwhile, a day after returning home I went up to Canton for a day to put in an appearance at the office, and to retrieve a few more boxes. And part of this weekend (and probably next) we're going back up there to do more packing, all leading to the big final move on September 22. (Help at either end is welcome!)
