  • 08:12 Eek, Oracle buying Sun! This can't be good for MySQL (which Sun owns). Time to learn PostgreSQL, I guess. #
  • 09:16 Thanks to Oracle, looking into MySQL forks like Drizzle and MariaDB. #
  • 18:52 Sitting at a Columbus Ruby group meeting, in a loud office building that reminds me of being in an airplane. Need noise-canceling... #
  • 19:13 Again reminded that Java (& Design Patterns) has become lingua franca even among programmers not actually using Java. Must keep learning. #
