That trim around the bottom is the piece I nailed on the bottom as a base. It sticks out about 3/4 inch on the sides and front, and is a bit beveled on the front.

I put L-brackets on the back corners to strengthen it a bit, so I cut off those corners from the backing boards to keep those boards flat. So the green is just the wall showing through one of those holes.
